Photography has been my full time job and long time passion for many years.

Completely self taught I spent the best part of five years learning and testing before I ever dared to consider myself professional enough to take it full time and laying that foundation was absolutely the right decision. The thing with photography is that you are constantly learning and growing as an artist.

I am primarily a photographer of people, a portrait photographer. Ok sometimes I shoot people wearing nice clothes for a fashion brand. I’ve shot luxury homes, interior design, food and events over the years and I love the variety but in my heart I am a portrait photographer.

Whether it’s a model, actor, dancer or kids I love that I can connect with someone so that they are comfortable and completely at ease on a shoot even if they may not love having their photograph taken. Often the case with actors who are not so used to stills and yet spend much of their time on camera, it’s a different experience to being in character and delivering a performance. This is why my shoots are never rushed, I like to take my time, maybe have a coffee, get to know someone a bit. Even with models who are very comfortable on set, I still think it’s important to have that connection. My personal collaborations are almost always with people that I’ve had a great experience and connection with because that shows through in the final results.

Whatever you are coming to me for you can be assured that you will have a very relaxed and enjoyable experience. We will take our time and get the best results possible. I want to create photographs that make potential clients, casting directors etc. stop and look when they see your photograph and know that they are also seeing the real you, not an over retouched version of you.

My shoots are perfect for models, actors, performers or anybody in a creative field. In fact anybody that would like my style of editorial portrait or in need of a good headshot is welcome.
